Community Ambassador

You will be the human presence behind Onix at Montréal studios, run clubs, and community events: bringing invite codes, real conversations, and field signal back to the team.

You will be the human presence behind Onix in Montréal.

You are a Montréal student or recent grad who lives this city’s health and movement community: not on your resume, in real life. You run, ride, train, breathe, or move with people here. You hold a real conversation in French and English. You show up, week after week, without being managed. You want real work, not internship busywork.

Onix is the Personal Intelligence platform. We turn the world’s best health and wellness experts into scalable businesses by training small language models exclusively on their private corpora: clinical notes, unpublished research, proprietary methods that have never been on the internet.

17+ founding experts are live in App Store early access, including Dave Rabin, Mark Sisson, Ashley Koff, William Li, and Elissa Epel, across longevity, functional medicine, mental health, and pediatrics. NYT bestsellers and category-defining voices.

Small senior team in Old Montreal. In person. This is a paid internship for summer and fall 2026, part-time or full-time. You report to our studio team. The role has two streams: most of your time in the field activating Montréal’s health and wellness community, the rest research surfacing communities we do not yet know about.

The next great consumer brand will prove that real adoption is built in rooms, not feeds. That is what you will help us build.

What You Will Do

Activations

Show up at the studios, clubs, and events where Montréal’s health-motivated community already gathers. Pilates and yoga studios, run and cycle clubs, breathwork sessions, longevity and biohacking meetups. One-off moments like the Marathon de Montréal, Tour de l’Île, and gran fondos. The high-yield ones: functional medicine and longevity conferences, and the in-person events our experts visit Montréal for. Your job at every event is the same: have real conversations, distribute event-specific invite codes, and own the qualified-signup number for the room.

Research

Find the next niche. Surface the communities, gatherings, and practitioners we do not yet know about. Every niche worth a look gets a writeup: who runs the community, how big it is, what would earn us the right to be there. The more the better. This is your input to the studio team, who decides what we do next.

Who You Are

You know the studios that matter, the early Saturday rides, the recovery rooms, the events where the right people in this city show up. You believe Personal Intelligence is built room by room, not feed by feed.

You are not here to grow a personal brand on top of Onix.

You have

  • Bilingual French and English, conversational and written, at the level required to represent a brand in either official language without coaching.
  • Authentic, current participation in at least one Montréal health, movement, or wellness community. You are a member, not a marketer.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in communications, public health, kinesiology, social sciences, marketing, or a related field. Self-directed equivalents welcome.
  • Authorization to work in Canada for the term.

You are

  • In Montréal full-time for the term.
  • High energy and consistent across weeks.
  • Curious without being a salesperson. You start conversations because you want to know.
  • Self-directed. You build your own calendar and defend the choices.
  • Rejection and bad weather do not slow you down.

This Role is NOT For You If:

  • Your idea of community work is running a club Instagram.
  • You think attending an event means posting from it.
  • You only network when there is a name tag and a podium.
  • You want to grow a personal brand on Onix’s time. We do not pay for impressions.
  • You want a remote job.

What Success Looks Like

  • Your calendar is packed with events: studios, clubs, conferences, expert visits.
  • Qualified signups attributed to your events via event-specific invite codes.
  • A written field memo to the team every Monday morning.
  • Day-30 retention of your attributed cohort that beats our organic baseline.
  • The studio team trusts your read of Montréal.

How to Apply

Download Onix from the App Store using invite code OnixCareers. Spend real time with it. Pick an onix. Have conversations.

Then submit:

  1. The Onix activation in Montréal you would run in week one. Where, who, why, what a qualified signup looks like from it.
  2. A 90-second phone video of yourself at a real event you went to in the last 60 days. Show us where you were, who else was there, and what you were doing.
